Rush has introduced a limited-edition Starman T-shirt to help raise money for people affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. The band announced that all profits from the sale will go to Hogar Bambi, a nonprofit organization that provides support for orphaned and abandoned children in the country.
The shirt was created with Fantoons, the animation studio founded by Venezuelan director David Calcano. The studio has a long connection with Rush and has worked on several projects tied to the band’s legacy and fan community.
The fundraiser follows two powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, leaving families displaced and communities in need of basic supplies. The money raised through the shirt sales is intended to help provide food, medicine, shelter, and care for children affected by the disaster.
Rush’s Starman logo has long been one of the band’s most recognized symbols. In this case, it is being used to support a direct relief effort during a difficult moment for Venezuelan families.
